HubSpot’s new pricing model explained for UK B2B buyers

HubSpot’s new model gives you one edition, seat access, monthly credits, and extra capacity if you need it. It starts with new EMEA customers and depends on how your team will use HubSpot.

What is HubSpot’s new pricing model?

HubSpot’s new pricing model moves away from mixing separate hub tiers. Instead, a business chooses one platform edition for the portal, assigns seat types based on role, uses included monthly credits, and adds packs or extra usage capacity where needed.

How HubSpot pricing works now:

  • Edition: choose Starter, Professional, or Enterprise for the whole portal
  • Seats: assign access based on what each person needs to do
  • Credits: use included monthly credits for qualifying usage across the platform
  • Capacity packs: add committed capacity for things like email or workflow usage when needed
  • Pay as you go: some usage above included or committed capacity is billed separately

That is why the buying decision now needs both commercial and operational planning.

Why this matters

  • The model is simpler to buy than to size

The headline offer is cleaner, but the real decision still depends on workflow usage, email volume, AI usage, and who needs active access.
  • Credits change how overuse shows up

Poor process design now creates visible spend pressure, not just hidden admin friction, so governance matters earlier in the buying cycle.
  • Seat type now shapes daily capability

If access is mapped badly, the right people cannot use the tools they need, and adoption falls before the system has a fair chance.
  • Good planning protects value later

When the setup reflects the way your teams sell, market, serve, and report, HubSpot is easier to scale without waste.

Frequently asked questions

It is a platform-based pricing model built around one edition for the portal, role-based seats, included monthly credits, and extra packs or billed usage when more capacity is needed.
At launch, the new model rolls out first for net-new business in EMEA. Existing install-base customers stay on legacy pricing and are not manually moved across at launch.
Seats control what people can actively do in HubSpot. Credits support qualifying platform usage such as certain email, workflow, AI, and other usage-based activity.
Credits support work done by the platform across things like email sends, qualifying workflow actions, AI agents, Data Studio syncs, accepted quotes, and some usage above included capacity.
No. Included monthly credits are use it or lose it within the month, so planning usage matters if you expect activity to vary over time.
Capacity packs are committed allowances for certain types of usage, such as email or workflow activity, so a customer can size monthly needs more deliberately before paying overage usage.
Not at launch. Existing install-base customers remain on legacy pricing, and the new model is rolling out first for net-new business in EMEA.
Because the right setup depends on your team structure, automation plans, email usage, governance needs, and how quickly you expect HubSpot to scale with the business.
